Currently YouTube channel called “Haley Kim”  since 2015 with over 810k subscribers

I am a beauty content creator who focuses on helping people feel more comfortable in their own skin.

My love of beauty started in high school when I would flip through fashion magazines and learn about different makeup products. Five years ago, I started my own YouTube channel to share my interests and what beauty means to me. Since then, I have been truly enjoying my job as a content creator which allows me not only to express my love and passion for beauty in many ways, but to connect with likeminded people. The interest and support of my viewers has invigorated my love of beauty and encouraged me to push myself to explore makeup in fresh ways. I started a one-year-long project, “No Foundation, No Problem” to encourage women to accept, embrace and love their skin as it is instead of applying foundation that can often hurt your skin, long-term. In the first video, I apply make-up without foundation, and this video alone was watched by over 600,000 viewers. And I collaborated with a psychologist to develop set of guidelines to help my subscribers to change their outlook, mindset. This guideline (more of a kit for “practicing” self-acceptance and self-love for a month) was downloaded by 2,000 users. As a result, my channel is now a community that goes beyond external beauty, but where women (and some men) encourage each other.
