Vovi: An Introduction to Marketing

Vovi is the digital marketing agency that helps brands that do good look good. Born in a conviction that young creative minds can punch well above their weight when they are inspired; Vovi is a studio that exclusively employs young creatives and works with ethical, sustainable impact businesses and charities. 

Interns will work closely with a team of creatives on creating social media and newsletter content as the base level activity. There will be sporadic opportunities to jump into some more interesting marketing activities like advertising, photography, website design and development or branding. It will be ensured that no intern doesn't get the chance to flirt with a multitude of areas of interest in their experience at Vovi. Young people punch above their weight when inspired, and this internship will look to help the interns find the areas that they can punch above their weight. 

A typical day will be arrive at 9am, make a plan for the days work with an account manager, spend 60% of the day ideating, copywriting and organising work on marketing retainers we have with some ethical brands. The balance of time will be spent with special tasks that depend on the person's interest. 

We will talk to three key themes during the session: 

Theme 1: Intro to Vovi, and why working with young people is inspiring and effective. Theme 2: Intro to Marketing Strategy at a very high level, Funnels, Journeys and what can affect user decisions at different junctures of their journey. Theme 3: A discussion of how good creativity and marketing affect people's decisions making.Also the names and a short bio of anyone who will be coming from Vovi

Alex Rook - Co-founder of Vovi and senior strategist Vida Adamczewski - Account Manager and Copywriter, began as an intern in May, specialising in social.  Ella Murray - Designer, who has been with Vovi for 2+ years and specialises in brand and website design.
