About the Event

Join us in the Saskatchewan Lecture Room in Exeter College to discover more about career paths in the creative industry!

Panel speakers include:

Daisy Goodwin - Writer and television producer, best known for creating and writing the ITV show Victoria. After ten years at the BBC making arts documentaries, she left to join the independent sector and created a number of programmes including Grand Designs. In 2005 she founded her own production company Silver River Productions. In addition to television, she has published several novels and eight anthologies of poetry.

Frances Christie - Head of Modern and Post-War British Art at Sotheby's in London, which she joined in 2002. She has been deeply involved in the sale of all major collections of 20th Century British Art at Sotheby’s in the last decade, most notably: the personal collection of David Bowie in 2016 and the artist Howard Hodgkin’s personal collection in October 2017. Frances also serves as an auctioneer.

Jane Kellock - Founder and creative director of Unique Style Platform, the trend forecasting & consultancy for fashion and lifestyle industries. Starting as a womenswear designer for UK high street retailers including Topshop, she has a broad knowledge of bricks-and-mortar retail and range-building. From Head of Design for a Canadian retailer to senior roles at WGSN and Stylus, Jane has gained an international reputation as a colour and trends expert.

The panel will be followed by informal drinks and refreshments with the speakers.

All genders are welcome.
