About the Event
Our first Inspirational Women speaker this term - Sinéad Burke, Co-editor of Vogue!
Sinéad is an Irish writer, academic, broadcaster and advocate for disability and design. Popular for her TED talk on 'Why design should include everyone', Burke has since developed a partnership with Burberry Burke, who has made custom pieces adapted to Burke’s height to create her own. She has co-founded the Inclusive Fashion and Design Collective (IFDC), received the Vere Foster Medal from the Marino Institute of Education and has written for New York times, Telegraph and Business in Fashion to name a few. Sinéad was listed in British Vogue’s inaugural list of 25 women shaping the UK in 2018, which she is now a contributing editor and writer at the title.
